Natalie moved to Gladstone from Bundaberg to pursue her career aspirations of truly making a difference for our residents experience at New Auckland Place.

Following 18 years of consumer facing roles and supervisory positions, whilst raising 4 children with her husband Natalie perused a career in nursing (a passion which came about from the passing of her father 30 years ago).

Now with almost 10 years nursing experience, Natalie has accomplished varying roles in nursing including palliative care, specialist clinics, medical and surgical nursing, day oncology, general practice, moving to middle management quality roles. After seeing a need in aged care, Natalie moved from acute care settings to the sector to improve outcomes and experiences and overall wellbeing for residents in the aged care setting. She believes in role modelling and continuous improvement strategies to lead a team to ensure residents receive contemporary best practice care experiences in residential aged care.

When not at work, Natalie enjoys time at home in the garden, reading, spending time with her family and friends and “fur child” Pixie (a rescue dog who runs the household). Natalie is also an avid camper keen to get back to basics and nature.
